Seagull Estates

Lately I've been talking about all the different (and fabulous) condos and neighborhoods on Sanibel, and I have to mention one of my favorite! Seagull Estates is located on West Gulf Drive just to the east of Tarpon Bay Road. Seagull Estates is made up of two streets: Daniel Drive and Christofer Court.

 

 

The subdivision has beautiful landscaping and well-kept homes. Miles and miles of Sanibel beach is just across West Gulf Drive and the deeded beach access is easily accessible. Daniel Drive weaves through the neighborhood and has two entrances on West Gulf Drive.
One of the best features of this near-beach neighborhood is that it has its own clubhouse, pool and tennis courts for the residents' enjoyment! The clubhouse is large and it's the perfect place for gatherings and parties!

 

This is a highly desirable area and there have been three home sales so far this year. Both were three bedroom, three bath homes with selling prices from $549,000 to $720,000. As always you can contact me and I can fill you in on current properties for sale in this area.

As if Sanibel Island didn't have enough going for it - a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon public school - the Sanibel School and Arthur Frommer's top destination designation - now the Sanibel Public Library has been recognized as being top of class.  The Library Journal named the Sanibel Public Library a 5-Star Library in its annual America's Star Libraries of 2011 survey!

This recognition is based upon stellar service and the importance to the community.  The Technological innovation is also a factor that plays into the equation.  The Sanibel Public Library has worked very diligently to upgrade the wireless internet access, enhanced access to library resources on-line and allowing the downloading of e-Books and audio books.  It is really quite impressive!

Chateaux Sur Mer

Located near the west end of Sanibel, Chateaux Sur Mer is a terrific near-beach subdivision where all the properties are just a short walk to the beach.
The deeded beach access allows all residents a fast and easy way to enjoy miles and miles of Sanibel's best beaches! This area is also perfect for sunset walks, or to get on your bike and enjoy over 20 miles of Sanibel bike trails!
